Kim Apodaca has spent two decades at the intersection of style, psychology, and business, and she's on a mission to transform one million lives through the power of style by 2035.
Her philosophy is straightforward: when you look aligned on the outside, you begin to believe in yourself on the inside. Style isn't fashion. It's a tool for confidence, identity, and real transformation.
One of the country's most sought-after executive stylists, Kim has served executives, entrepreneurs, and high achievers for over 20 years. She's also the founder of Global Style Academy, where she coaches stylists worldwide to master their craft and build profitable, meaningful businesses.
Kim's entrepreneurial story started at thirteen. In her twenties, she produced a feature film acquired by Universal Studios. In 2003, she co-founded a seven-figure company with her husband that still operates today. She launched her styling career in 2006 and never looked back.
COVID crystalized her coaching mission. While the industry collapsed around talented stylists, Kim's business had its best year on record. The gap wasn't skill, it was business acumen, mindset, and strategy. That realization became a calling.
As she puts it: "There is no official school for stylists." Most are trained in the art and left to figure out the rest alone. Kim built her program to close that gap, backed by a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management and Industrial Psychology, and the lived experience of someone who is still in it. Still styling. Still building. Coaching found her as a calling, not an exit strategy.
